About

Join us on Tuesday, June 11th, from 6 – 8 PM for a dialogue between bio artist and researcher Yoko Shimizu and art historian and researcher Kerstin Borchhardt. Kerstin’s focus of study includes posthumanism and the intricate relationship between art, science, and ecology. Learn about Yoko’s latest project, “Estuary of the Echoes,” and her collaboration with our upstairs lab neighbors, the Interstate Environmental Commission who diligently monitor the waterways in NY, NJ, and CT. Don’t miss this unique opportunity. With Yoko and Kerstin visiting from Linz, Austria, it’s a prime chance to engage with and learn from international experts in the art and science communities.
